Why Some Messages Cannot Be Edited

Time Limitations

• Regular messages can be edited within 48 hours after sending
• Messages older than 48 hours cannot be edited to avoid misunderstandings from edits too far from their original context
• If you need to update expired messages, we recommend sending a new message instead

Group Limitations

• Group owners can disable message editing permissions for the group (e.g., in groups involving financial data, owners may restrict editing to prevent confusion from monetary modifications)

Special Cases

The following messages are not subject to the 48-hour editing time limit:

• Messages in "My Storage"
• "Marked Messages"

This design maximizes the utility of these features, allowing you to organize and update important information at any time.
